Paying us a visit from the mainland?
The Leisure Centre is prominently signed - from either E.Cowes or
Fishbourne follow main road [ A3054] to Newport – on passing into 30mph
restriction, the centre is some 100 metres on the right, just prior to a
very short stretch of separated carriageway.
From Yarmouth follow A3054 to Newport - then follow signs for Ryde – the
centre is a left turning some 400metres past Fairlee Service Station
It is worth pointing out there are other facilities here at the
leisure centre that will keep young people occupied before or after
their routines.
Medina Leisure Centre offers two indoor fully
heated swimming pools and the Isle of Wight’s only public waterslide
- a 25m super-slide with many turns that runs into the main indoor
pool. The main pool features the waterslide and is a great way to
enjoy swimming - it's fun for kids and grown-ups. The small pool
situated alongside the main pool is perfect for youngsters and
toddlers and is ideal for all the family when helping the younger
ones to swim.

Public transport to Medina Leisure Centre
There is a good bus service from the main ferry ports.East Cowes to Newport and Ryde/Fishbourne to Newport stop at Medina Leisure Centre although if you catch a bus from West Cowes you will have to change at Newport.

TRANSPORT – If bringing a vehicle on to the island it is advisable to book in advance through either Red Funnel – Southampton to E.Cowes or Wightlink – Portsmouth to Fishbourne and also Lymington – Yarmouth.
